Put It Out – How it works
Put It Out mini fire extinguisher is a top sealed pouch. It has a clear liquid, acetic acid, in which a plastic, air tight, ball is suspended. Within the ball there is a granular substance, sodium hydrogen carbonate.
In the event of a fire:
Step 1) Break Seal and Open Lid
Step 2) Pop Capsule (resulting in a mixture high in Carbon Dioxide which sucks the oxygen from the fire thus aiding in putting it out.)
Step 3) Spray the Product – extinguish the fire.

What is Acetic Acid and Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate?
Acetic acid is commonly known as Vinegar. We do however use a higher concentrate than regular vinegar bought off the shelves in the grocery store. Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate is commonly known as baking soda. It is engrained into our core that our products should not be dangerous in any way and therefore we have ensured that our recipe is safe and non-toxic

Put It Out was inspired to help those who live in the poorest communities. Dwellings are often built by very flammable materials and the proximity of each dwelling to the other creates the risk of fires moving rapidly. Put It Out is designed to be a first response to small fires for it is small fires that become big fires.
